In order to accomplish the important program for the reorganisation
and revamp of the Company's technical potential, ample
resources dedicated to coverage of all aspects of environmental
protection, through implementing and the most pioneering
and effective technical solutions.
The Measures adopted consist of: furnace soundproofing
in the dog house; fumes suction and dedusting system of
both the melting furnace and the refining system outside
of the furnace, dimensioned to filter over 2,400,000 Nm3/h
of fumes, and with a release of residual dust particles
in the atmosphere lower than the prescribed limits; industrial
water treatment plant, which completely processes the
water in closed circuits and limits the volume of water
drawn from the main supply to only the amount required
to make up for losses due to evaporation. |
