ABS
was created in 1989 by the
merger of two highly qualified steelworks with long
standing experience: "Officine
Bertoli" founded in 1813 and "S.a.f.a.u."
whose origin dates back to 1909.
The Company's operations are based on three production
plants in the province of Udine, which extend over
a total area of 730,000
sq.m, 189,000
of which are covered space. |

The technical levels achieved,
enable the Company to supply special steels for the most
diverse applications: from cars to industrial vehicles;
the mechanical industry and machines in general; weldless
pipes for the mechanical and petrochemical industries;
high pressure and
high-temperature gas cylinders; bearings and special sections
for earthmoving machines and railway equipment; in addition
to re-rolling and forging steels.

completeness of the range,
both in terms of dimensions and quality, and
the complete processing of the product from beginning to end constitute the characteristic aspects of the corporate process, capable of operating on the specifications of the most qualified users, and thereby also capable of ensuring a high level of customer service.
