ABS produces a wide range of rolled products by means of two rolling lines.
ROLLING LINE No. 1 - BLO/REV
It consists of two subsequent rolling mills, “Blooming” and “Reversible” which allow the production of a wide range of ABS products, both as far as qualities and dimensions are concerned, in round, square and rectangular sections.
The two trains are fed both with ingots and with continuous casting products, using the hot-charging process in order to limit energy consumption.
Quality is assured through the strict control of heating parameters, by suitable rolling techniques for the various steel qualities and, moreover, by the possibility of different cooling cycles: with air cooling; with insulated cooling beds to control the critical cooling phases; with slow-cooling pits.
All the material produced by the rolling lines is then inspected and conditioned, according to the various requirements.

ROLLING LINE No. 2 - LUNA ROLLING MILL
The Rolling line is composed of 17 rolling units (in horizontal and vertical configuration). Kocks block with three roll concept is used as a finishing stand.
The LUNA mill is fed with continuous casting products.
