Ferruccio Trombini graduated in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Brescia in 1993 and completed his management education with a Master’s degree in Operations & Supply Chain Management at FESTO as well as courses on Lean Production and strategic management at SDA Bocconi.
He gained decades of experience in the metallurgical industry, holding positions of increasing responsibility in the production and operational areas. Among his assignments, he has led quality and innovation-oriented strategic transformations in the automotive, oil & gas, power generation and aerospace markets.
An experienced manager in the management of large organizations, he specializes in process optimization, continuous improvement and occupational safety development.
At ABS he is in charge of operations coordination, technical department, process quality and prevention and protection service. He is an active member of industry associations such as AIM (Italian Metallurgy Association) and FAST (Federation of Scientific and Technical Associations).
